Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, & Laparoscopic Surgeon

Hello, I'm Dr Jananie!

I have the immense privilege of providing holistic care to women in all stages of their health journey.

When you come to see me, I really want to understand your unique and personal needs. It is important to me that your health, comfort and confidence comes first. So let's navigate your journey together, with a plan that works for you.

I completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Following my MBBS I undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

I completed my RANZCOG training in some of Australia's leading hospitals (Royal Prince Alfred,  Royal Darwin, St George, and Canterbury). I further refined my expertise by completing advanced fellowship training in open and minimally invasive (laparoscopic + hysteroscopic) surgery within the Western Sydney Local Health district.

When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my family. My husband works in aged care on the other end of life's spectrum. In our free time, we love hanging out with our girls, taking them to the beach,  exploring the bike paths of the Inner West and finding joy in the little moments of life.  My two little girls keep me grounded and committed to improving women’s right to health globally, hoping to leave an enduring impact for future generations.
